Digital Artist

Laurie's been playing with the Paint program on the computer. She really enjoys it. Hmmmm, maybe it's time we moved on to a new art program! Any suggestions for a kid-friendly computer art program? Don't think she's ready for Photoshop yet, LOL. Although she has been making PowerPoint presentations in school!

(Laurie's titles for her artworks)

Crazy Spaghetti and Meatballs

Under the Sea

Oter Space

Orange Tree

Magic Box

Color Madnes

Fall Day

Horse

Halloween!

(I particularly like the skeletal hand and foot sticking out of the ground!)

Those are awesome pictures! Did you ever hear of Kid Pics? It's a computer program that a lot of schools have and it has drawing capabilities. I used to teach computers for 4 years but never had the opportunity to use any cool programs like Kid Pics. I think that is fantastic too that she is able to use PowerPoint. Such a smart girl you are Laurie!

Wow those are awesome! I was a computer teacher before sahm and paint is the most common and easy to use. There's Tux paint which is a freebie which is a bit of a step up and theres tons of others online too:)

I love these pix. Can you get her a sketch pen for a program? That might really hone her skills...
